The ideal pH range for swimming pools is 7.2 - 7.6. If the pH value is too low, it is probable that corrosion will occur around the pools fittings. Most importantly, a low pH may lead to skin and eye irritation. When the pH drops below 7.2, pH Plus should be used to increase it.
Application Instructions:
- Before applying this product, it should be pre-dissolved in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product to 10 litres of warm water. Stir well to ensure that the product is fully dissolved. Repeat the application to achieve total dose required - see the label for dose rates.
- After pre-dissolving, add the resulting solution to the pool near the inlets with the filtration system in operation.
- After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the pH and if it is still below 7.2, keep repeating the treatment until the ideal level is achieved.
