Problems with clarity can occur if un-dissolved solids persist in suspension in pool water. These tablets should be used to promote sparkling pool water by helping your sand filter remove small suspended solids that it would normally find difficult to remove.
Sparkle Tabs are not recommended for use with cartridge or diatomaceous earth (D.E.) filters.
Application Instructions:
- Always maintain pH level within the range 7.2 - 7.6. If the pH level is outside the ideal range, please adjust before proceeding.
- Check that the total alkalinity level is within the range 80 - 150mg/l (ppm). If it is outside the ideal range, adjust before proceeding.
- Backwash the filter before application.
- Apply one tablet per 9,000 gallons of pool water to the skimmer basket or pump strainer basket - ensuring the basket is clean and does not contain any other products.
- Run filtration 24 hours a day until the pool clears, backwashing the filter if necessary.
