One dose of this longlife copper based algaecide will help to prevent algae growth for up to 6 months. Please note that this product is only suitable for use with chlorine or salt treated pools.
Application Instructions for Algae Prevention:
- Ensure that the pool water is clear and free from algae and debris before applying Summertop.
- Always maintain the pH level within the range 7.2-7.6. If the pH level is outside the ideal range please adjust before proceeding.
- Check the chlorine level and ensure that it is maintained within the ideal range of 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm).
- Apply this product directly to the pool near to the returning water inlets with the filtration system running.
- Allow the filtration system to run for at least 8 hours after the application to ensure that the product is well distributed throughout the pool.
- Repeat the application when the total copper level falls below 0.2mg/l (ppm).
