Elecro Electric Pool HeatersOur Elecro Swimming Pool heaters are designed for safety, ease of installation and high efficiency. Enjoy glorious warm water and extend the swimming season with an Elecro Swimming Pool heater. In order to fit a heater to your pool, you will need a minimum of a 1000 gallon per hour pump. The heater then fits on to the pipes of your pump. A qualified electrician is required to install your heater. Key Features:
Elecro's pool heaters come fully equipped and pre-wired, including super sensitive flow switches which allows safe coupling to splasher pools. They also come complete with a control thermostat, safety thermostat and integral contactor relay. The heaters are easy to install, requiring only final connection to a mandatory separate RCD. No pump interlock is required. All heaters come fitted with 1 '' BSP female threaded adapters for connection to rigid pipe work. 2-kW to 9-kW heaters are also supplied with hose tails for connection to 1 '' or 1 '' flexible pipe work. The heating elements in all Elecro heaters are of superior construction, offering excellent chemical attack and erosion resistance. Their life expectancy should be many years, provided that the Elecro installation instructions are adhered to and water chemistry is maintained within the guide limits. Assuming no heat losses, and a heater sized in the ratio 1.5-kW per 1000-gallons of water: it will take 2 days of continuous running to raise the temperature of a pool from tap temperature to swimming temperature. Heat loss will slow the process particularly during periods of cold weather. |
