Trampoline Frame Pads
All Super Tramp Outdoor Trampolines are fitted with coverall frame pads made to the same high standards as the frame pads you’ll find on a full sized sports hall trampoline. In fact, with up to 30mm thick closed cell, cross linked polyethylene foam and double sided PVC nylon covers we know that our frame pads are even better than those on trampolines in sports halls. This foam has excellent energy absorption characteristics, does not absorb water.
Our pad fixing system on the round trampolines, King 110, Wallaby’s, Kangaroos and Boomers is probably the best there is.
We also offer you a choice of frame pad colours.
Though our outdoor beds are always black, the frame pads can be green, yellow, orange, combinations of these colours or the standard royal blue. Royal blue and forest green should always be available ex-stock. Other colour options may delay delivery by up to 5 weeks.
Trampoline Assembly
When your trampoline arrives it is packed in two or more cartons. Follow the instructions. Assembly is surprisingly quick and easy. All our frames slot together – no tools are required and there are no fiddly nuts and bolts to loose or tighten, except for the King 110 which does have 4 nuts to tighten. With the exception of the budget model Senior 15, there are no anchor bars that have to be inserted into the hem of the bed. Our beds have proper triangular anchor bars sewn into the edge of the fabric.
Every trampoline comes complete with a user handbook which guides you into the basic trampolining moves, together with safety guidelines.
Trampoline Safety
Experience over the years has proved to us that home trampolining on a Super Tramp trampoline is one of the safest activities your family can undertake.
The ratio of fun and benefits to risk is unbeatable.
On the safety side we have two safety notices permanently printed on our frame pads to remind all users of the ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of trampolining. Children read them while waiting for their turn and the information become embedded in their subconscious. It all helps.
Trampoline Versatility
Our design criteria for performance are based on the need for a bounce that is in keeping with the size of the trampoline and age and experience of the users. The performance is limited on the smaller trampolines and is relatively forgiving, whilst on the larger rectangular trampolines the power steadily increases but is still restrained, even on the Super Kangaroo and Boomer.
All our outdoor trampolines are versatile. Once assembled they have a rigid frame but when taken apart (with the exception of the Boomer) can easily be transported in a medium-size hatchback car.
Trampoline Parts and Service
Super Tramp Outdoor Trampolines are built to last and, if and when you want to get a bigger trampoline, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the offers you’ll get to buy your old trampoline. At Super Tramp we stock replacement parts for most trampolines that have been sold in Britain over the past 20 years. We also supply a bed reconditioning service for 2-string beds and can re-stitch all black polypropylene mesh beds.
Trampoline Portability
All Super Tramp Outdoor Trampolines are easy to slide across the lawn, although the Boomer, Wallaby and Kangaroo, because of their weight, are best moved by two people. All the rectangular trampolines can be tipped on to their sides in a confined area. Even after standing outside for several years, your trampoline is easily taken apart and can be stored in a small area and moved without the need for special transport.
You may be interested to know that the great majority of Super Tramp customers leave their trampolines up all year round, because they are used all year round.
General trampoline Information
To improve access, the trampoline can be set in the ground so that the bed is at grass level.
Finally - do remember that Super Tramp devotes most of its recourses to providing, supplying, servicing and encouraging the use of outdoor trampolines. We’re here to help and advise before and after you make your decision to enjoy SUPER TRAMP TRAMPOLINE
Siting of your Trampoline
All Super Tramp outdoor trampolines are designed to be sited on a level grass surface. We recommend that a 2 meter clear grass area surrounds your trampoline. Should anyone make an uncontrolled departure from the trampoline either during their turn or at the end of their turn, the average British garden lawn is one of natures’ kindest landing surfaces.
Concrete paths, walls, driveways etc are not so user friendly. If space is limited we suggest you consider the use of a Bounce Arena on a round trampoline. This will make it impossible to fall off the trampoline.
