Welcome to Active Toys' basketball section. Basketball is a game of skill for adults or boys and girls of all ages. We have a diverse range of portable units, rings and nets, backboards and in ground systems to keep players fit and active all through the year.

Did you know… That Basketball was supposedly invented in December 1891 when a Canadian clergyman and physician, James Naismith, was an instructor at a young men’s training school. James Naismith has been asked to organize a vigorous activity for the men to play indoors during winter. Needless to say, by incorporating different aspects from several other sports, Basketball was born. Since then Basketball has spread nationwide and has been incredibly popular with men and women of all ages.
