Problems with water clarity can occur if un-dissolved solids persist in suspension in pool water. This product is designed to settle these solids to the pool floor for removal by vacuuming to waste.
This product is only suitable for use with sand filtration systems.
Application Instructions:
- Always maintain pH level within the range 7.2 - 7.6. If the pH level is outside the ideal range, please adjust before proceeding.
- Check that the total alkalinity level is within the range 80 - 150mg/l (ppm). If it is outside the ideal range, adjust before proceeding.
- Before applying this product, it should be pre-dissolved in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product to 10 litres of lukewarm water. Stir well and repeat application to achieve total dose required (see label on the container).
- After pre-dissolving, apply the resulting solution evenly over the whole water surface area, with the filtration system in operation.
- When the solution is fully dispersed in the pool, turn off the filtration system for 12 hours. Do not allow swimming during this period.
- After 12 hours, vacuum the settlement on the pool floor to waste and run filtration 24 hours a day until the pool clears, backwashing the filter if necessary.
